what, megan doing a tag? no way...

I usually stay far away from the silly game known in the blogging world as: "tag". However, tonight I'm caving.

Why?

Because, Jon is late at school for the umpteenth time. Because, I have "AI" on pause so I can get something productive done and then happily fast forward through the commercials (something productive as in: blogging. Yeah, it's productive, I promise). Because I was really good at tag in elementary school. But most of all, because this is my blog and I'll do what I want.

Who knows, maybe I'll even do another one during the next "pause" break.

Until then....

(Ethan, 5 months. While I absolutely adore the kid, I was really hoping for an "oh, how embarrassing" picture. Oh well.)

6th folder, 6th picture, 6 people (I'm not sure all these "6's" are a good thing. Maybe we should change the number to 5. Just a thought. Can someone please take that up with the Blog Master? There's got to be one, right? Otherwise, where do all these silly "trends" come from?)

After thumbing through all my picture files, this was the best "embarrassing" picture I could find: my beautiful, classy mom zonked out in the car. Love you, Mom. Just remember, it's my blog.

Following My Mother's Advise...

-I got off the phone and Ethan said, "You talk to your Mom?"
Me:"Yes, who is my mom?"
Ethan: "Grandma Sue."
Me: "Who is my dad?"
Ethan: "Daddy."
-I was trying to get Will to say, Ma-ma. I got, "Dada." Dang.
-Ethan got on the scale and said in a very proud voice, "Mom, I'm 29 years."
-We were eating cereal and I said, "Mmm, Ethan this is yummy." Ethan said, "this is way so yummy."
-Ethan loves to ride the Metro rail and is very observant of his surroundings when we do. For about a week, each time I would say the word "metro" he would repeat, "Thank you for riding the metro rail. Thank you for using Metro Center." Only when I rode the Metro Rail elevator the other day did I realize that it says that as you get off.
-On the way to church I was talking to Ethan about how to behave during Sacrament meeting. I told him if he sat quietly he could earn smarties. He said, "Ok Mom, sounds like a plan."
-Mom, "Ethan, how was your night?"
Ethan, "Good."
Mom, "What did you dream about?"
Ethan, "Thomas!"
-During one of the songs in Sacrament meeting, Ethan yelled at me, "MOM SING, MOM SING!" Also, during the Sacrament, while it was very quiet, he heard a baby crying, and he said, "Mom, I hear cows".
-Ethan wanted to get out of his crib tonight. He kept calling, "Hey Meggie, hey Meggie."
-Ethan: "Will stop crying, Will stop crying. Will stop crying PLEASE."
-I took Ethan to Toys R Us tonight. The second we walked in, he spotted a Thomas the Train toy up on a shelf. "Mom, Thomas, COOOOL!" We went back and found the books and I coaxed the other toy out of his hands. He picked out a Thomas book. The whole way to the check-out stand, he read the book while walking, bumping into things as he did.
-Ethan came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist and said in a really sweet voice, "I love you mom."
-Grandpa walked down the stairs the other morning and Ethan said, "Hi Rich!"
-As I walked into my room the other night, Ethan said, "hi sweetie."
-Ethan came running into the room to tell me that he was going to "do homework". I walked into the office to see him typing on the computer at one desk and Jon on his computer at the other.
-As Ethan was swinging on the swing, he said, "Mom, I so happy.
